Silverback lodge

Silver back Lodge is one of the Geolodges in Uganda. It is still new and is located on the top of the valley and overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You get a chance to see the Sabinyo ranges in Rwanda.

Accommodation
The lodge has seven rooms which were all designed and built using local materials, such as the forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone. The rooms have ensuite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the forest.

The Mountain Gorilla

The mountain gorilla is the bulkiest and largest living primate in the world with an adult Gorilla growing up to 1.8 meters tall and weighing 210 kg. The mountain gorilla is the most threatened and endangered gorilla race with around 700 gorillas shared between Uganda, Rwanda. The chance to track one of the Last few mountain gorillas is arguably the most breath taking and fascinating wildlife encounter in Africa.
