JACANA SAFARI LODGE

Jacana lodge is set on the edge of Uganda’s largest crater lake and is a tree house lodge. The delicate use of rock, poles, wood, rope, organic furniture and rich textures blend perfectly with the smells, sights and sounds of this tropical hardwood forest. A cracking fireplace combined with a magical atmosphere creates an unforgettable experience. The lodge was opened in 1998 and provides one of the best accommodation facilities in the area.

Accommodation:
The lodge has 10 independent luxury chalets, and a family cottage that has two rooms that are joined together. All the rooms at the lodge assure the guests of a peaceful and restorative stay with a unique theme of their own. The rooms have en-suite washrooms with continuous hot water for showers (heated by gas), tastefully furnished and have an enclosed veranda with large panoramic windows offering picture-perfect views of Lake Nyamusingire and allows you to enjoy a chilled sundowner or early morning tea and coffee served by your personal waiter.
