GORILLA FOREST CAMP

The camp is located about 500 meters near the park entrance at Buhoma. The secluded self contained walk in twin tents are protected beneath a thatch roof extending over a private deck, while meals and drinks are served in an organically decorated open sided common area. A good variety of birds and more occasionally monkeys, regulary pass through the grounds.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered in 8 luxurious tented camps. On cooler evenings, the central cottage provides a warm shelter and also guests can dine under the stars at night and relax by the roaring camp fire. The camp has wooden floors and decks support comfortable warm beds, and each tent boasts a bathtub, ideal for soaking tired muscles after a day's gorilla tracking, that looks straight out into the jungle's canopy The camp has an airstrip 40 minutes away where most guests arrive, but can also be reached by car in eleven hours drive from Kampala.
