Day 1, Arrival date
Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet with our driver/ tour guide.
On the way from Entebbe to Kampala different exciting and memorable sites may be shown to you such as, Ziika forest which has a lot of bird and tree species, the different beaches on Lake Victoria. Drive off to Kampala for dinner a
nd over night stay at the Cassia lodge in Kampala.
Day 2, drive to Murchison falls National Park and nature walk to the top of the falls
Early in the morning after a fully served breakfast set off for Murchison falls national park via Luweero- Nakasongola to Masindi. Enroute stopover at the Luweero triangle. Proceed to Masindi town reaching Masindi hotel in time for lunch. After lunch go to Murchison falls National Park for an evening Nature walk to the top of the falls. Go to Red Chill camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3, game drive and launch cruise
Early in the morning go for an early morning game drive in the Northern part of Murchison falls national park. In this cool morning before the sun rises too high , you may be able to see herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Rothschild’s giraffe, prides of lions, leopard, Oribis, Hartebeests, and many more.
Come back for lunch at the camp and in the afternoon take a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls, watch families of Hippos relaxing by the Nile bank, Nile crocodiles while incubating their eggs, and also as lots of birds. You may also have a glance on the rare shoebill stork. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Red Chill camp.
Day 4, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After a morning break fast, transfer to Kibale National park reaching in the evening. This park has the highest diversity of primates including the Threatens Red Colobus monkeys, Black and white Colobus monkeys, the Mangabeys, the endangered chimpanzees and many others. Dinner and over night at Chimp Guest House
Day 5, Chimp tracking and nature/forest walk
Go for an early morning chimpanzee tracking in the forest and expect to see a lot of chimpanzees and other animals like theforest elephants, buffaloes, leopards, bush pig and duiker, lions, warthogs, reptiles and amphibians as well as a colorful variety of butterflies. Return to the guest house for lunch. After lunch go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area. Return to the guest house for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and game drive
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park reaching the park Headquarters at Mweya. Prepare and go for a game drive in the Northern crater area where there is a lot of dark holes called the black craters with no water. You may be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes, Leopards, monkeys such as the black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, patus monkeys’ red-tailed monkeys and the blue monkeys. Other animals that can be seen are the bush pigs and the warthogs, antelopes such as the topi, water and the bush bucks.
Return late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Simba Safari Camp.
Day 7, game drive and launch cruise.
Early in the morning go for a morning game drive in t
he Kasenyi area which is well known as the Kob mating grounds and there fore in this place one is able to see a lot of kobs and other antelopes like the situnga, and the hyenas. Other animals can also be spotted such as the Elephants, lions, and many more. This takes 2-3 hour. Return to the camp for lunch and in the afternoon go for a Launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. You may be able to see a lot of crocodiles along the channels bank sides, a lot of the hippopotamus, elephants taking water and a lot of bird species at the pelican point. Return for dinner and over night stay late in the evening at Simba safari camp.
Day 8, ,chimpanzee tracking, ishasha and transfer to Bwindi
Early in the morning go for Chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge. Guided walks to search for the chimpanzees start at the Kyambura's fig tree Camp. In this gorge you are able to track man’s cousin and shiest closest friend and that is the chimpanzee. The activity takes about 2-3 hours. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. The ishasha sector is well known for the tree climbing lions which can be spotted from the far in the fig trees.
Proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park reaching at Buhoma the park headquarters late in the evening. Dinner and over night stay at Buhoma community bandas.
Day 9, gorilla tracking
Early in the morning after breakfast and a briefing from the UWA officials, set off for the gorilla tracking. This experience of gorilla tracking is a once in a life time adventure. The rangers will lead you deep into this thick forest in search for the Gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about1hour. The activity can take 6-7 hours since the gorillas move up and down (they are never in one place and there fore tracking them at times becomes difficult). Enroute there are a lot of chimpanzees and other types of the primates such as the monkeys, birds and so more. Return for dinner and over night stay at the Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 10, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Kihihi to Kabale reaching in time for lunch. In the afternoon go for the afternoon Boa trip to different Islands on the lake such as Bushara Island, Sharp Island and so on. Enjoy bird watching since each Island has got its own bird species as well as taking tour Photographs. Have dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi overland resort
Day 11, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After a fully served break fast transfer to Lake Mburo National park via Ntungamo to Mbarara reaching the park headquarters at Rwonyo in time for lunch. After lunch go for an evenning boat trip on the lake. You may be able to see a lot of bird species and lots of other animals. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Rwonyo camp site.
Day 12, game drive and transfer to Kampala
Early in the morning, go for a morning game drive in the park and experience the excitement of the sights of different animals found in the park through different trails. During the game drive you have very many chances of seeing the impalas, Zebras, bushbucks and bush duikers, waterbucks, warthogs, and the topis.
Come back for lunch at the camp. In the afternoon transfer back to Kampala reaching very late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Cassia lodge.
Day 13, Jinja and the source of the Nile
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Jinja via Mukono. Enroute make a
stop over at Sezibwa falls in Mukono District. Proceed with the journey and make another stopover at Mabira forest. Have lunch at Mabira forest lodge. After lunch proceed to Jinja reaching the source of the Nile in the afternoon. Take a boat trip to the source of the Mighty Nile River. The spot where the River starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt. While at the source get a chance to view different species of birds especially the kingfisher. Return to Jinja town for an evening tour. Have dinner and over night stay at Hotel Triangle.
Day 14, rafting whole day
Early in the morning after break fast at the Hotel go for a full day rafting trip on River Nile starting from Bujjagali. It is a 31km distance. Get to experience the coolness and warmth of the waters. Return in the evening for Bungee jumping at adrift. Lately at around 7:00pm start on your journey back to Kampala. Have dinner and overnight at Cassia lodge.
Day 15, Kampala city tour
Early in the morning do a tour to the cultural sites of Kasubi Tombs, the Lubiri (Twekobe), the Kabaka’s lake Buganda’s parliamentary seat in Bulange and the Nagalabi Buddo coronation site. After lunch visit Namugongo Shrine site and in the evening return to the hotel and prepare for the Night club tour to club Silk, Angenoir, imbecap and so on. Return to the lodge late in the night for over night stay.
Day 16, Kampala tour.
Leave your Hotel after breakfast and go to St. Balikuddembe Market, proceed and have a look at the Kabaka’s palace in Banda. Have lunch at any hotel of your choice. After lunch go for a visit to the Bahai Temple the only of it’s kind in East Africa after which you will go catch the evening at the Ndere Center for cultural dances and other activities. Return for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 17 travel back.
After break fast check on well all your luggage and prepare them. After lunch at the hotel our driver or the tour guide will transfer you to the Entebbe international airport for your flight and travel back
