Uganda Tour Begins- Day 1: Kampala City Tour
Get picked from your Hotel in Kampala by our company representatives/your guide and take a ride around Kampala the city made up of Seven Hills. This city tour involves visiting prominent places such as: Kasubi tombs, Makerere University, Uganda museum, Namirembe and Rubaga cathedrals, Kibuli mosque, Namugongo martyrs shrines, Bahai temple, and Mulago hospital. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel in Kampala
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo Tour
Early morning depart via Masaka for Lake Mburo. Stop at the equator for photographs, Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. After lunch go for a game drive in the rolling hills and open grasslands. This landscape is a home to Impala, Waterbuck, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Klipspringers, Crested Crane, and the elusive Shoebill Stork. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Tented camp/ Rwonyo Rest Camp/Mihingo lodge.
Day 3: transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Islands
After breakfast, you drive to western Uganda popularly known as" The Switzerland of Uganda" via Mbarara. Have your lunch at Lake View Mbarara. Proceed to Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest in Uganda and having a total of 38 islands. Take a boat ride and enjoy the beautiful scenery and see a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland Camp/Arcadia cottages
Day 4: transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through beautiful scenery where the dominant terrain is of terraced farmland and deep valleys. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead / Mantana Tented Camp or Lake Kitandara tented camp
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast transfer to the park Headquarters at Buhoma where the guides from Uganda Wildlife Authority will present a briefing about safari rules. You should carry a packed lunch and water for this activity. Gorilla trekking can take 4 to 10 hours depending on how easily the Gorilla family is located. This is the core attraction of the Uganda Tour. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead / Mantana Tented Camp or Lake Kitandara tented camp
Day 6: transfer to Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector the only place for the tree climbing lions in Uganda. Reach the park in time for lunch and in the afternoon go for a game drive around the crater region of the park which provides sightings of elephants, herds of buffalo, and a variety of birds. Dinner and Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana safari Lodge / Institute of ecology
Day 7: Game Viewing, Launch cruise
After a cup of coffee, Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopards, hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. After lunch, enjoy the unique
evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Day 8: Queen Elizabeth - Kibale Forest
Depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal. Reach Kibale forest during lunch hours. After lunch, prepare for a 3 to 4 hours chimp tracking in the forest. This park is very rich in the biodiversity of species of insect, birds, plants, and animals. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Lodge/Chimp guest house/Primate/ Ndali lodge
Day 9: Murchison Falls NP
Have an early breakfast and start for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park with Lunch enroute. On arrival in Murchison falls national park, cross the Nile River by a ferry and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation and swimming after the long journey which makes the dinner and overnight stay more enjoyable at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Nile safari camp/Red chili/Sambiya river lodge
Day 10: Game Viewing Tour, launch cruise
Early in the morning take a game drive to the Victoria Nile Delta looking for a variety o
f flora and fauna. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon three hour launch trip on the Nile to the Mighty Murchison Falls. Hippos, elephants, crocodiles, waterbucks antelopes, warthogs, and different species of birds are readily observed from this excursion. Dinner and over night at Paraa safari Lodge/ Nile safari camp/Red chili/Sambiya river lodge
Day 11: Visit the Top of The Falls.
After breakfast, drive to the top of Murchison Falls and explore the area before driving back to Kampala via Masindi with lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Kampala
